Clown knives get around 28" when full grown and they grow pretty fast

I'd feed it the following,

Feeder fish (Feed this sparingly...feeder fish are known to carry all sorts of diseases, but if you feed once or twice a month, you should be fine)
A variety of frozen foods such as brine shrimp (I prefer this over bloodworms)

Some will even eat pellets and flake foods...mine didn't

Mine was a clown knife also, got rid of him 18 days ago, he was roughly 10"...I'm currently unemployed and can't buy a bigger tank...he was in my 75g and I was going to move him to my 120g, but I purchased a bunch of africans who would beat him up if I moved him there.
 
You're gonna love it. I have a 14 incher, big appetite. I feed mine pellets, shrimp, tilapia and planning to breed my own feeders. One of the best looking oddballs around.
