hi. so i got a new clown loach today, acclimated him to my tank over a period of two hours [temperature and tank water], and put him in. i came home from work and he seems fine health-wise, but he seems restless and anxious. he's sort of swimming up and down the walls, and when he's not freaking out like that, he sort of flutters his dorsal and pectoral fins. is there something i should be worried about, or is he just kind of acclimating? the fluttery fins seems more like a form of communication, but i just need to know for sure.
thanks!

How many clown loaches do you have? These are sociable fish. Buying and keeping only one is a terrible idea. They tend to pine away if kept alone.

Like everyone said, get a group! Also, new loaches tend to swim up and down tanks when they're first introduced, sometimes to the point where their noses turn white from brushing it against the aquarium glass too much.
