You've got time to find them a bigger home... Get him some buddies & if you see the smallest sign of Ick, start treatment. They are famous for carrying nasties since they're all wild-caught.

A 125 gallon is a perfect adult home for a small group of clowns IMO. With clowns, the tank length is much more important than the height.

The swimming behavior is normal, sometimes referred to as the "loachy dance." Please get him some friends! The numbers outlined here are good but basically the more the merrier.
