this guy was sold as hoplias sp misions but i guess he is hoplias australis.
as you can see the pic, he is real highback. hopefully he grows well so i can move him to the main tank. he is currently in a hospital tank for quarantine.

yes, he loves to eat market shrimp and catfish nugets. i am gonna feed bloodworm and kens pellets as soon as i get them.
i already moved heater up. I also checked that he has parallel jaw line as my xingu lac.

i always use 1 gallon acrylic one when i acclimate a small size fish. i did not take any pic but i saw parallel jaw line right under the 1 gallon one. that was the first thing i checked. i really do not want to take him out from the tank so i will take some pics if i have an opportunity.
