He is adorable.. remember he needs to be slowely acclimated into salt water.. brackish at least.. they sell them in freshwater but they won't survive unless they go into marine salt .. if you do not know how to do this over time just ask.. mine is 10 years old ....
oh he is awesome.............. congradulations.. it should happen very gradual .. and since he is new i would wait until he is totally settled in ... eating well etc.. usually by 4 or 5 inches is a good time to begin.. but just because he is bigger doesn't mean he should be acclimated too fast..
Hmmmm I can only foresee one problem...the rest of my fish aren't brackish. If this is true I might have to take it backdamn....knew I should have done some reading first. At least the LFS I got him from love me and the owner will just credit me.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to keep him but I don't have another large tank that I can switch to brackish..

i am sorry to hear this.. these guys do get a bad rap because the pet stores do not inform people properly.. they say they can do okay in fresh.. they do do okay until their skin starts turning black... but at least you found out early on.. sorry...
thats good.. maybe they will add him eventually to a brackish tank.. where he will thrive..It does make me sad but I am happy that you were able to tell me this before I did any damage...good to know though cause I can bring it back and let my LFS know...they thought he was a paroon shark
