Your tank looks great wyldkard! I miss having live plants in my bichir tank, i think planted bichir tanks are the nicest setups.

Thanks Cohazard! Work hasn't been busy lately so more time for the hobby. Ditto on the planted tanks, but keeping it planted though can take some time, esp
with my bichirs feeling that they're zerglings with all the substrate burrowing lol!. I managed to keep the plants rooted by covering them with large flat rocks
that the bichirs can't move/dig out so the amazon swords and the vallisneria's are doing great.
If you mean the darker colored sen, I got him two years ago, though my lfs didn't know if he was wc or not
At the back part of the pic, the green patch of moss is actually growing on one of the flat stones that I used for keeping the swords and valls protected from the
bichirs.
