New concvict pare not eating

my convicts were really shy at first; they never ever came out of their caves. now they swim everywhere and are the very first to attack the food, which are just pellets. just give them some time to get comfortable haha

The bloodworms seems to have done the trick they have been loving them. They still a tad shy when I am around but hopefully that would be slowly dissipate over time.
I hope I can get them to eat pellets though in the future. Thanks again for your efforts in helping me.

Dont worry about it and try sinking pellets first if they are eating the bloodworms they should eat sinking pellets. But maybe starve them a day just in case they aren't hungry

my cons get moody..they pout when i do larger than normal water changes and hide for a day..or if i rearrange the tank ..and when i moved them to a new tank they moped and hid and pouted for a few days even refused food...but give them time and they come out and eat like the little pigs they are ^_^

good luck with your new cons they are underrated little fish !

They doing well starting to be sooo much more social still not eating pellets though but will be trying to starve them till they do. How do you get the pellets to sink ?
Though I'll add some photos of them.

My convicts are doing so well they started laying eggs this morning. I am very excited can't wait to see the process of bringing them up.
