First I'm sorry if spelling and grammar are wrong just a heads up but I was wondering the best way to configure my hob filter media as I know there is tons of ways to cut cost I have pot scrubbies ceramic cubes filter floss just wondering the best way to set everything up in these aqueon filter I'm sure I'm mission info and be glad to provide more if need be thank you for your time

I personally would use sponge instead of floss. Sponge bottom pot scrubbers or ceramic rings. Would suggest try to place in a mesh bag to make maintenance easier. If you use the floss then place it at the bottom.

I do have two sponge filters running in the tank as well and another filter under water will post more pics here in just a sec

The sponge will serve as mechanical and bio media. If you place a sponge brand Fluval and cut it to fit you could just use a thin layer of floss between with ceramic rings on the top.

Awesome now to layer them properly in the hob best way to do it I can shove some of the ceramic rings in the scrubbies as well and lay the floss on top or not use floss at all

Yes you can eliminate the floss if you want.
