Thanks washywashy for such an awesome fish! Didn't really want another lower jaw species for my tank as I was quite happy with my endli and lapradei. But how could I say no to $60 for a 8" congicus? Thanks again bro!

PS: Glad you double-bagged it. That crazy bichir jumped and punctured the inner bag.

Sorry for the following pictures
Just dosed Sterazin since the congicus was wild-caught (not risking bichir worms again!!)

Nice catch!
Possibly my favorite Bichir.
I have 8 Congis (various types) and I still want more.
I bet you feel the same in a few days of watching this one!

Oh no, what have I got myself into. Can't take my eyes off him during feeding time. Looks really like a crocodile with the head looking upwards and his back fins all up. BTW what kind of varient is mine?

Hahaha.. Nice meeting you dude.. Glad you really like this piece. It's already treated with Jungle labs Parasite Clear btw.

looks awesome. did you isolate and treat the fish or are you treating the whole tank? if it's the latter, then you'd probably want to avoid that in future by quarantining the new fish and treating it alone.

regardless, great fish and congrats! i remember when i had 2 congicus, really out going and active. very much unlike my PBB:P

congrats!

Congrats on the pick up! This congicus is in top shape, really nice.

Beautiful Congicus! :)
