what did you feed him?

Massivore, smelt, prawn, shrimps, squid, baby channa argus, baby midas cichlids, indonesian floating frogs, frozen goby and mussels. Mine slowed down at 18".

hahaha im not an impulse buyer! well, usually but yes i do, they can hit 5 feet and 30 pounds! im excited! most mormyrids are laaaaaame!

im very surprised to see how outgoing and what a good eater he has become. he comes out and eats pellets off the top with the rest of the fish when the light are on, and will even steal a whole massivore pellet away from the clown loaches to go and devour himself. and hes bulking up pretty well too.

theyre a predator from africa. theyre most well known for hunting cichlids in lake malawi but theyre found over a wide range.
