Very nice looking crestie!!!!! He tiny!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you got better luck with these guys than I did. One of mine died because I was stupid and took the advice of a local breeder. I always thought the problems with his geckos and their offspring were related to bad bloodlines, but now that I think about it... a lot of people are probably taking his advices. Mine are unrelated to his geckos and their founders, but one of mine starved itself to death.

Two breeders yesterday told me to separate them. By the time I got to tend to them properly, it was too late. :( A third breeder
said it was probably too late anyway.

Nah, just one of them stressed out the other to the point where the other one wasn't digesting his food properly. So he starved...

The breeder in question said it was normal for them to get MBD randomly and go away by themselves like with his Crested, and he house them together and apparently "never had a problem." I am willing to bet his co-housing caused his Crested Geckos to get MBD from time to time.

It was my fault for even listening to him. Now I know what some varanid breeders mean by "Just because they are reproducing, doesn't means they are recieving what they need."

That. I am assuming that's how his Cresties get MBD since it's damn near impossible for them to get MBD, even inexperienced keepers don't get MBD with their geckos.

Either way, I learned a lession: never house Cresteds together, even if they are the same gender, except for breeding.

so should i panic because i cant seem to get him to go after the crix or mix or is he just aclimating.
