New datnoids - question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree Krich. Bold colored dats just seem to know they look pretty and they seem to cruise the tank much more than unstable ones...OP..If your new to dats, I recommend just enjoying and learning your new dats. Indos are a tough, inexpensive dat species and a great species to get some familiarity with dats. If the color really concerns you now.. the problem many times gets worse as he grows, but again I recommend keeping them and forget about stability for a while

Because they look much better when they are stable as you can clearly see the pattern of the bars or stripes on the light base color of the fish.It is truly a beautiful sight to see a nice sized dat with its bars boldly standing out while moving across the tank....not so when they are not stable.

It's called stability in dats. Sometimes they will be stable(bars showing) and sometimes unstable(black). There is no way to make them stable all the time. Only time will tell.

Agree with above entirely.

Also when tigers are stable. . They look so much bigger than when unstable...
