if it's wild caught, then definitely! captive bred, that'll have to depend on the fish. A lot of the captive bred bichirs look a little 'weird', e.g. popular species like endli or del with lots of selective breeding going on. And the special color morph, which probably requires a lot more inbreeding to produce, is even worse. Seen too many plat endli with deformed fins, weird head etc etc

anyway, i can't see the rest of this plat del, but looks good from what i can see!
