They both look good. A black back ground would help make their colors pop better. Are you planning on keeping them in this tank and with those tank mates?

I just get tired of saying bump or TTT so I said something different. I'm surprised that you can see that it's navy blue in the pics. Looking at the tank w/ both lights on, the background looks black. I guess the flash lights it up enough to tell. I'll be moving them sometime soon probably. Getting along SO FAR...

Yeah, he is. It was bigger than that when I bought him a little bit. We had a 7-8 hour trip back though...

I just picked up a pair myself. I traded my RTM pair for them. Looks like the pair of dovii i have are costa rican also. I also have 2 Nicaraguan males. One is pushing 10.5in and the smaller male is 5in. Hands down my favorite cichlid. Took me about a year to get my first one. They are so hard to get here in NYC.

I had to drive down to NC to get mine, close to SC. He had a breeding pair of RTM also, but they had just gotten sold...
