New Dovii

I just wanted to share my new f1 nics from Rapps. I got them a couple weeks ago. They're creeping up on a stout two inches. You can't really tell by the pic but a couple already have a blue tint to their fins. They're a lot more social than I expected. Love these guys, so excited to watch them grow. Saturday they move into the big tank, which will be the permanent home to one or two of them.

Thanks! Just moved them into a 360. It's awesome seeing those little fish in such a large tank. They're lovin life right now. They are already following my fingers. Not really chasing them yet, but they're interested.One looks like it already claimed the whole right side of the tank. Hasn't let any of the others past that bush in the middle for a few hours. Thanks for the comment! I love talking about them.

If anyone has any tips on tank decor feel free. I was just going to put the pots in but figured I'd add some plants for a little extra cover.

Nice man! Sometime in the future I will have to order some from Rapps. I recently picked up some F1 Costa Rican Dovii which are already 5-7 inches and I'm loving them especially the male. These guys look like they will be some future beasts! Looking forward to some updates in the future!

Can i ask where you bought your cr blues from? My source for cr blues just told me yesterday that he sold everything but the breeders . He was saving me 12 fry.

They came with the tank. I believe they're called strawberry pots.

only tip i got is keep the plants plastic, my 13" male just moves them where he wants them when he is in the mod. bright side to this he tends to do it daily so only the hard scape stays the same lol plants have a migration route around the tank so you don't get board
