New dovii's

You can move em now. They'll be fine. Once they get used to the new tank and you, they will race to you come feeding time. Feed them slowly for a few minutes and when they start letting food slip by without going after it feeding time is over.
I wouldn't worry about feeding them in a 6 foot tank, they're food hogs in my experience. I would really only be worried about types of fish that are notoriously picky eaters when small, which I don't believe dovii are at all. If you have the tank up and running, and it's cycled, I say move them into it whenever you're ready - no need to wait.
