New driftwood question

I've honestly never considered that, but now that you mention it and I say it aloud... you could always cut it in specific areas (ie: thicker areas with a larger surface area) and the glue the pieces back together once put in the tank. I guess that would work too, no? Just depends on how good of a repair job you can do o_O

That is very true! I think my plan is going to be growing moss and other plants on the wood. So really I could hide the cut areas with plants and rock work so it's not obvious. Hmmm.... I'm really kinda liking this idea!
