This is my 2 1/2 year old dwarf caiman it's about 30" now. I just got done building a pond in her enclosure , I will be building a double the size enclosure this week.

There is a cave under neath the land part where the driftwood is.

You can buy them online, check fauna or kingsnake. Prices tend to be around $250 atm.
Any pics of caiman? Are they aggressive? I had a spectacled caiman many years ago several years ago and it was nasty, much more aggressive than aligators.
Very aggressive.

Hah. Props to you but I'd be terrified to own anything that could eat me so effectively. Like, what if it's escaped some day and running for you and you trip and twist your ankle and then ARRRRRGH!--it goes right for the face!

The face!

I got started on his new enclosure today. Got a little further than I expected. The dimensions of the enclosure I'm building are 8ft long x 4ft from front to back x 4 ft high. It will be completely finished by tomorrow.
There will be a pond in the new one similar to the one now. Just much bigger the pond inside the enclosure will be 5ft long by 3 ft wide.

Any ideas on what I should use for the substrate? I have used wood chips in the past and I didn't like it. So my plan so far is rubber wood chips.
