New dwarf cichlids

The fish were described in 2010. The paper includes some photos. I will contact the seller I got these from and see if it's okay to share his adult photos. They're a really interesting-looking Dicrossus.

I've been hoping to get my hands on Crenicara again, as they were some of my favorite cichlids I ever kept. They're basically giant checkerboards. I couldn't find them, then these popped up!

Too late I already forwarded it to her. We dig Crenicara and Teleocichla too! She used to have this BIG male maculatus that was really pretty with flowing purplish fins.

I don't think I've ever seen them mentioned around here. They've only been formally described for a couple years? At any rate, I've always wanted to try Dicrossus, so I figured these were a good place to start.

Wasn't easy to ID for me! I immediately knew it was Dicrossus (I kept maculatus), but it took some digging to figure out what species. They don't even have pictures of them on CRC! Maybe you should submit some.
