Should I get a another normal JD to cheer him up ? Or another fish he is in a 60 to himself

I thought to do the same, maybe one or two jds would help him settle in. Mine liked having the tank mate and they competed for food until they grew to 3-4" then the fighting started. Two ebjd males growing up in the same tank is not fun, I had to separate them and pick the one I wanted in my 125gal. Anyway if you are going to get him some friends try to get more than a few to make the aggression spread instead of be focused on one fish. Also try to keep them around the same size. Best of luck
