I meant from internal paracites etc. I have read many times if they get to this size they generally are hardier fish and less likey to die from these common issues.

have you started the parasite treatment? if you have already started the treatment like advised then he should pull through but if not then he probably doesnt have much of a chance since he already stopped eating and you need to treat anyways so the other one doesn't die as well
