im converting my 180 into a saltwater tank i need a poll of what fish to get

if the fish you recomend is not on the list then just say it im thinking of putting a eel ,shark ,emeror angel, blue dot ray, panther grouper, volition lion, and a big scat ,maybe a golden puffer

no 'other-list' option?

out of them i say zebra or yelowhead (voted zebra)

chainlink or white eye

or a melatremus

I vote for a brazilian or mexican horned. Awesome looking, reasonably priced and usually not too aggressive towards your fish that don't fit in their mouths.. Out of the eels you have listed, I vote zebra as well.

do you think it would work if i just got all of the fish but got a small tesselata like 8"

why cant i get a grouper or shark all of the websites say its okay
i want a cat shark or maybe a wobbegong im going to up grade in about 2 years to a 450

the websites are wrong. one of the smaller groupers will work but no shark, sorry. what specific species do you want anyway? if you got the tessie small, it might work - and then for a short time only.

something like a miniata, v tail, or other ''smaller'' grouper would work..

nothing like a white spotted or panther (maybe a panther for a while)

Sharks you really need to look into. When purchased small, depending on species it would not be a smart idea having any type of rock work as they are prone to getting infections from minor scrapes from sand.
I am not sure you are really doing any research on what you want to keep. You have to look into all possibilities of behavior and proper care of each fish you want to keep.
With an eel, it is kind of important for them to have rock work they can hide into.
Hey maybe you are willing to learn from trial and error. Certain things work, but are you really looking at putting in time, effort and money into something that will give you almost no reward?
If so I have a pocket that you can dump all of your cash into and save a fish's life.
