i have done a lot of research and i found out that i could only probley get a cat shark or marble bamboo shark

i still think i could get a tess and a panther grouper
but im definitly getting a emperor angel

with the angel, you cant have any sharks. even if the tank was big enough for the shark. you definitely cant keep the tess or panther in that tank for life either.

Coral Catsharks or the Marble grow over 2 feet long. A stardard 180 is around 72", 24", 25". They are active espicially at night and with other tankmates its going to be really cramped. So No No to the Sharko. The blue spotted ribbon tail ray, is very delicate and almost all die in the home aquaria. If you are talking about the blue spotted ray, they will get to big for the aquarium. The emperor angel and puffer will pick at the eyes of rays and sharks. If you have Seen emperors on youtube or something, you dont know how long they have been in the tank. Iy could only have been a day. The tessy eel gets very large and aggresive and will eventually kill all tankmates. My vote for a eel would be a banana eel.

If you hatch an egg in a 180, the shark will last a year or two (tops) in the 180 and you will have a tough time finding a new home for it. Do yourself a favor, don't do it.

No , they die no matter how big your tank is. They are one of the least hardy animals there are in the hobby.
They are in the list with
Orange spot filefish
and Ribbon eels.
The reason behind this is in the wild they swim over a 150 miles a day and no one can have a tank like that. You'll never even see them in public aquariums.

This what a friend of mine said about blue dot stingrays and I agree.

i believe they fare badly in captivity due to feeding problems.
