i have dapped a chunk of teflon over the only way out and covered the filter opening aswell...i did this on another tank for my ropefish works wonders...
 
lol I use duct tape.. seal on both sides and taped to tank... and hand towels.. I dampen those then lay over top and let dry.. they kinda form around my filter. So far it's worked great. I also pop my lids open on the tank when I'm doing stuff around the room for air exchange, circulation. Dunno if it helps.. but.. I like to think so =)
 
yea, i hear they are escape artist. but i have a tight lid on my tanks and the plastic attachments that go around the filter hosing and other stuff, is pretty tight and secure. my tt and peacock eels can't get out. but, be carefule . . .
 
yeah, i agree, mine feeds exclusively on tetramin flakes (dunno why) he ignores black and bloodworms!
