So I got two new electric cats tonight! One is 10" plus and the other is somewhere around 6". They are currently residing in my 180g but I think that they will soon be listed in the marketplace, but for now they're mine. So I hope you like them as much as I do. If I part with them it will be from sheer lack of space so I can move my other fish to the 180.

Tell me what you think. And I've read that you shouldn't keep two together, but they have the 180 to themselves... And they've lived together their whole lives to my knowledge.

they look great. I hear that some syno species can coexists with them no problem

OOOOHHHH!!!!!NICE!!!!!!

wow very good size, i havnt seen any that big, very cool

They've settled in nicely so far, I'm still figuring out the shipping situation before I list them, but if anyone's seriously interested just PM me, they're super nice specimen, very mellow.

are they as strong as electric eels. or less electric. like what one puts of more, just woundering

I was fortunate enough to not get shocked by either of them while transporting and placing them in the tank. I'm not sure how to compare them to the eels, but from what I've read they can put out some decent voltage as they grow. A pretty strong shock after exceeding 8 inches from what I've read. Perhaps someone on here could fill us all in.
