Hey, what the heck is a red star datnoid? A LFS has it advertised online on their stocklist, but they've got no info on it and i haven't been able to find it anywhere online...

i have hear red star datnoid. it's NOT a real datnoid. other fish that look like dats and LFS just name it red star datnoid. forgot what is the actual fish though.

How big is the one you are building?? I want a tank roughly.. 8'x3'x2'... lil over 300G.

Im a going over to AJB's house from *********** in lowell on Monday. Your welcome to come with me if you want or I can relay the info to you once I get home. He has a few plans all drawn up and he is very smart when it comes to building and wood. I have the tools and the garage space to build them. The plans he has now are 10'x4' with 8' of actual fish tank and 2' of sump off to the side. It's a smart build because the stand will not need to have doors and with the sump right beside it you wont have to worry about over flowing.
Damn it, why does everything happen while I'm away at college? Btw, I don't know if you guys remember but a while ago there was a listing on craislist (for Boston) selling a 300 gallon acrylic tank, stand and cover for $900 (would've jumped on it then but I was broke) in NH, near the border with MA. Does anyone know who this was? And I also would like to know, like Aquata, if anyone has a >= 300 gallon tank for trade or for sale. I saw the tank in Framingham, which is right next to where I live, but that price is way to expensive for me right now. And Evil, if you end up delaying building that plywood tank for a week or so, I'll be back home by then so.... Thanks
I have a lightly used CPR Continuous Siphon Overflow CS150, 1600GPH that I cant use due to clearance issues.
I bought it to help a friend with his tank an the fool went an bought two 1200gph overflows. so I got stuck with it.
It has a [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]1 1/2 " Bulkhead an I made a lid for the back of it.[/FONT]
goes for 130.00 Brand new. If anyone needs it, I'll take either 60.00 or a decent trade.
