I took my python+waterpump combo a step further today, just for kicks I figured "why not split the hose an put the pump inline instead of replacing the gravel tube with it. An baring my mistake of not putting teflon tape on the threads (only had a minute leak). It worked Spectaculary an cut down my cleaning time in half.(Tommy you should try this)

thanks I was shocked at how powerful the pump made the Syphon(its only a MagDrive 5). I can only imagine how powerful a magdrive 9.5 would be connected Inline.

Magdrive 5 is like 500ghp at 0' headheight I believe.

Nice work! What kind of fitting/adapter is that on the Mag thread?

Its just the standard hose adapter. foster smith sells them, Homedepot, Ace hardware, lowes.
