If you want to make it an investment, you should buy a whole group because not every pair will successfully mate. It would be a bummer to get a pair that doesn't umm...like each other. You can get a group of small ones for a good price and grow them out to breeding size. Then when they breed you will get a thousand-fold return on the investment.
