I heard crush coral are good for media filter....but i could be wrong about this. Read some where but can't remember exact where.

I think your right sticky, Id think itd work just as good as crushed lava rock.

thanks for the clearify that for me Joey..

Hotfish you should save it to use for your filter for the 300gallon that you going to set up.

Ya Id save it all hotfish, my friend uses crushed coral as substrate in his 240 african tank.

Just for informations sake: Crushed coral will raise your PH and harden your water. PH should rise to about 7.6 and than stay there.

WTB: AC110 or equivalent - I dropped mine in the tub and now it has an AWFUL rattle. Anyone have one they're not using?

You can call up Hagan at 1 800 724-2436 and order a new impeller and shaft. You can even pick them up if you want to avoid the shipping costs. They're at 305 forbes blvd, mansfield ma. I buy the pair all the time, as my Pacu destroy them in about 3 months because of all the sand they turn up. The cost is $23.08 if you pick them up. Mine rattle like a bunch of dimes in a coffee can before i swap in the new parts, and purr silent after. It's real simple to swap them out. A pair of pliers and 1 minute is all you need.

im looking for a 125g long. doesnt need to be exactly 125g. just needs to be around that size with a width no more than 18"

Anyone know where I could find an Abei Puffer or a bright red Congo Puffer in the New England area? I'm willing to make a bit drive if you have any leads.

Thanks!
