bretton how big is your del bichir? if it over 12" ???i'll take it ahd how much you asking for?

I am looking for someone to give me a ride to uncle neds fish factory asap,I will buy lunch,fill your gas tank and give you fifty bucks to spend at neds.I really need to unload a bunch of cichlids so i can move my new tank into its spot and get it going.I hate to do this but it seems like the right way to set up this huge tank.
 
yea that guy had some awesome tropheus as well as dubois but I dont kno his contact information unfortuanatley ksb

He's actually not that big...maybe around 10-11". He eats pretty much anything, but shows a preference for market shimp. I've had luck with krill, pollock and haddock fillet, earth worms, and any larger sized pellet.

As far as temperment, he's actually very mellow. He has a ton of tankmates and I've never had a problem with him, but if anyone tries to get into his log he will attack...and I mean attack.

It is recommended to keep these guys alone, so I would say be prepared to err on the side of caution and keep a rubbermaid bin or an extra tank handy because I'm not 100% sure if it's a gradual progression in aggression or if they go ape shibby overnight.

...Maybe Walter (estubbaly) can help...he had a monster wyckii. :popcorn:
 
my wyckii was kept in an aggressive community setting as well(black wolf,common wolf, 8"plus datnoids and gars)...I would just recommend that you keep them with fishes that are as big and tough as they are,and give them a space of their own.
