you don't want to take them from a pond though sticky.You can buy them from paradise water gardens in whitman and they will not be full of parasites, insect larvae, etc..

Hotfish, you grew up in Whitman? I grew up in Hanson, next door.
I was just at paradise this weekend and got some lily's for my outside fish. I was also kinda amazed at the huge Koi in the back rooms. Sticky, they have a site at www.paradisewatergardens.com, and a free catalog you can get from them.
