As for the single and double tubes, sorry guys but we've been down that route! Although I would definately consider a pair of 36" double tubes.

Males have tube-like sexual appendages called claspers growing out of the inside of their pelvic fins under the base of the tail. They would be small nubs on a ray that size.

husband doesn't want the two 48" lights - it's his tank, and the overlap we'd need for the 6' tank would probably severely restrict access.
