Anyone seen south american lungfish anywhere around here? Would like to get one locally. Also, got some nice 4" payara at my shop today. a little pricey but nice looking. Last, anyone interested in reef tank corals/fish/live rock/etc? Breaking down my salt tank and starting a 6'X4' stingray pond. PM me if you have any interest.

We have a S.A.L. at my shop , puppy center west hartford ct

about 4 inches think were asking 50$

I know where there is a nice 8-9 inch S.A.L. in mass and it is turning pink,not sure what kind.Its almost all pink now.

and marble pim shovelnose i guess just google that and you should find the scientific names

There are actually two types of common shovelnose cats, one is Pseudoplatystoma tigrinum and the other is Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum.

Voss, can you confirm is the marble pim is a hybrid or not? This could one of two fish. Either it's a true marble sailfin cat, Leiarius longibarbis or it is some sort of Phractocephalus hybird...most likely a cross between Phractocephalus and Pseudoplatystoma.

Are they SALs or annectens?

i don't have any pics of it but its around 7-8 inches ,can you keep lungs with other fish?
