Glad she's doing great and you're enjoying her but I think her little sisters' patterns are incredible. (Do you see her brother in the 440 post?)

anyone have any good size nice looking pieces of driftwood for not a whole lot of $$... or any very clever ways to get a piece of driftwood to sink quick. The piece i have is very buoyant and would take a big piece of slate or whatever to keep her down so im not sure if i want to go the route

hey doug hows that 75 u set it up yet ?

set up and cycling but the piece of driftwood my bro got for me is buoyant as hell so im heading back to the drawing board as to how im gonna aquascape it

Man, I just gave away lots of drift wood and gravel-based fake plants.
I have a few small pecies of wood and plants free, if anyone is interested.

Artax,,,,,,,,,Boil the living-----ah, poo-poo out of the wood,,,,,,,,boil it all day if you have to. it helps speed up absorbing water, delutes the leaking of tanning agents and kills off potentical germs, funguses, bacteria or other harmful elements that could contaminate your tank.

Thanks for the advice man but the driftwood is 36" long in total and unless i put it in a large metal trash barrel over a fire like a hobo...:nilly: i dunno how i would go about boiling it... I boiled water inside then poured it on the wood but that only stays hot for so long
