I just orderd 10 lbs of black worms and will be selling them. For any member of mfk that wants to drive over to Brookline i will have them asap.

I tried a small red worm but they didn't ship well, they turn to mush in a few days so they are sending me black worms this time.

I'd love some of those blackworms! Are you setting up a tank for them?

Looks like you guys had a good time at the meet this weekend. I ended up at Shark Aquarium on Saturday, myself...also visited In The Fish Tank in Saddle Brook, NJ and Absolutely Fish in Clifton.

Yeah good trip, it's always cool to see rare fish. I didn't know you were going too, we could have gotten together. Do they have a lot of fish at the other two places you mentioned?

I thought about trying to hook up with you guys, but my trip was actually a visit to my in-laws. I had no idea what they had planned or when I might be able to get away to visit the fish stores.

In The Fish Tank in Saddle Brook is huge...similar in size and layout to Shark. They're probably 50/50 salt & fresh. They had a nice selection of fish, but much fewer piranhas or big cichlids. They only had 2 types of pikes, what I was mainly interested in.

Absolutely Fish is pretty good sized, too. They had several species of bichirs in. They sell more bread n' butter fish than either Shark or In The Fish Tank, but they do have a decent large cichlid section and a lot of Africans...often you can find some pretty oddball Africans there. If you're into saltwater, they have a very, very good supply of SW fish, etc.

Tommy i talked to the owner of the black worm farm in cali that i orderd from.First he said i was the first female to ever call, lol second he insist that the worms are kept in a container no more than 1/2 inch thick with no more than 1/2 inch of water above them and stored ONLY in the fridge, open container, rinsed at least once a day with conditioned water at 40 to 50 degrees.
