PVC pipes
PVC elbows and "T" fittings
You can put more "T" fittings and pipes as desired but here is the concept.
As well as using just powere heads, or an air tube down the Vetical PVC pipe and sponges to get a sponge filter type filtration ( this is nice if there is a power outage and you have a back-up batery powered air pump).

Good idea, especially for creating a river environment. Are the long sections of pvc drilled?
