ok so last night my sunfish decided he was hungry and went after all mt glo lite tetras and neons adn ot cats. so i had to put him back in with my piranhas....well when i woke up he had half a body left. he was still alive so i bagged him and put him in the freezer. i felt so bad. i honestly cant believe they at this size could do that.

The fish are doing great. They adapted very well, though I only see the gold nugget about once a week. lol
Feed him fresh zucchini - that will get him out
You can either blanch it or rubberband it to a rock. That guy always liked the skin best, so a nice slice from the side would bring him right out. Just make sure you don't get a zucchini that's been waxed to make it look better
yesterday i bought a few small pieces of driftwood,later that night i noticed a small clown pleco on the glass?a stow away,who wants him?
This is an odd thing to say, but I'm happy to euthanize anyone's fish if it gets to that. I've worked in vet settings for years, and I've seen and been a part of enough euthanizations that it doesn't get to me. With fish, I chop their heads off with a big knife. IMO that's the quickest and most humane way to do it without drugs or something like clove oil (which I don't have.)
