hmmm, the only time i've had a fish keep swimming in the bubbles from the air pump were when it had a problem with its swim bladder and ended up swimming in loops.. I wouldnt say this is your problem as I know NOTHING about those fish.

hahah nah his swim bladder is fine. i can tell t hat. he is always on top of the water. thats all he does. ive never seen his head lower than an inch of water
