massavoire stinks as in smell but who cares keep the bag closed.

i would be curious as too how those big pellets would work for my polys, they would have to be sinking and good size.

each massavoire pellet is equal to 2.5 goldfish are kens that strong?

Here's the nutritional breakdown of each:

Massivore:

Crude ProteinCrude FatCrude FiberMoistureCrude AshPhosphorusmin. 47%min. 5.0%max. 3.0%max. 10%max. 17%min.1.0%

Ken's Pellet:

CRUDE PROTEIN 40.0% MIN., CRUDE FAT 7.0%MIN., CRUDE FIBER 3.0% MAX., MOISTURE 12.0% MAX. ASH 8.0% MAX.

While Ken's has a little less protein, it has a lot less ash, which is basically a byproduct of bone/shell processing. You want to try to minimize ash content, as much as possible. The fish can only metabolize so much...the rest just comes straight out the back end.

unless the smell is so pungant that itd make you gag, it wouldnt bother me with the various head injuries ive had my sense of smell is pretty much dead.

i am going to try his food,i hope it works its much cheaper and easy to get.

Let me know if your polys eat it. I've not yet been able to get mine to accept anything other than frozen foods, but maybe that could change with the right pellet.

how many did you end up getting?

Thanks, I picked up one last time and two on sunday. Yeah, that split bar is the most stable of the bunch.
