Mornin folks, hope everyone had a good weekend. Didnt get to buy any fish but did build the frame of the stand for the 135 I got off CL. What fish related stuff did you guys do this weekend?

Went fishing on friday with sticky and mspoly. We didn't catch anything but had a great time. Then I did some work on filtration for my tanks...now I have a fluval 405 and a wet/dry on my ray tank. I haven't gotten around to posting my 55g for sale on craigslist yet, so last call: 55g with lighted hood, black stand, fluval 404 filter for $150!!

sorry no pics of build in progess. I'll take a pic of what I have done so far and post that either tonight and tomorrow. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It took me a while because I'm not really tooled up to do the job the way I'd like to do it. Just notching out the 4x4's took FOREVER.

I'm thinking of doing Malawi tank. I had my 55 set up as one before and loved it. The look, the action, the breeding just everything was awesome in that tank. Otherwise what can I put in a 135 with a 48" width that'll give me similar levels of activity?

hey riggs,If you go african cichlids i have some awesome substrate for you.I will give it to you but if you ever want to change the gravel or get some new gravel then i would take it back.The gravel is a mixture of criushed coral,oyster shell,and other goodies.I was a collector/breeder of african cichlids for twenty years.
