Wow I really appreciate the offer. I havent decided how i'm going to setup the tank as far as substrate and rockwork yet. What color would that mixture happen to be??

hey riggs,If you go african cichlids i have some awesome substrate for you.I will give it to you but if you ever want to change the gravel or get some new gravel then i would take it back. The gravel is a mixture of criushed coral, oyster shell, and other goodies.I was a collector/breeder of african cichlids for twenty years.

I am not bringing any fish in tonight i am changing wholesellers as i told you and there being shipped to boston airport.

who is your new wholeseller? is this the guy i told you about?

you should change the airport to Manchester NH airport...it way easier, no traffic and you can shipp many other illegel fish that MA can't have there. like piranha, etc...

That's cool, I havent been fishing in 2 years :( What size wet/dry are you running? I hope to be turning a spare 55 into a sump sometime soon. Still have to see how well it will fit under the stand tho.

I'm running a proclear 75 wet/dry and the fluval 405 on a 50g breeder with three juvie reticulatas and some small Indo Tigers. Next step is the 135g I'm getting from mspoly soon and I've got a 40g wet/dry and cascade 1500 for that tank and I'll probably leave the fluval on there too. 55's are great for DIY wet/dry filters, sounds like a good idea. I do have a ghetto 40g wet/dry for $50 if you are interested. It's in Bob's basement right now lol.

easy access off the highway? if so ill have to stop by the shop next time im in the area

Very cool, as far as that 40, is it complete or would I need anything for it. I'll know whether or not I'll need it tonight because I'm going to try to fit the empty 55 under the stand and see how much working room I'll be left with. Any idea on dimensions by any chance??

The wet/dry I'm talking about is pretty bare-bones. Needs bioballs, pump and possibly a drip tray (pegboard from home depot maybe) although it was being used by sticky without a drip tray. Strange dimensions too, something like 24"x32"x24" WxLxH. That's why it's only $50. Trades accepted.
