Bumpy
Sea World Pet in Salem, NH had some fire eels last week not sure if they still do.
30 gal could be a grow out,,remember they are sensitive fish,,,,,,but you should only grow out if you have another tank ready for them to go into in the future,,,,,,,,,I see too many times people buying fish that get large and say they'll get a bigger tank later and it doesn't happen, then they gotta dump the fish and will never get what it is worth for it.

STAY AWAY from impulse buying.

ya i hear ya. i just think they are super cool. but your right. i def wanna upgrade my 29 to a 55 gallon within the next 2 months. fire eel def is not gonna go in my 90 gallon piranha tank.

(I'll drive if you navigate)

bumpy lemon sorry i wasnt around to help you out i was fishing on my boat down in thje sound today

i think it would be better if you got a peacock eel it could probably do fine in your 30 gallon for a long time, fire eel will need at least an 180 gallon tank

fire eel would be a bad choice

we are in west hartford ct dont think we have any peacocks at the moment maybe a 12" fire eel

i did get a peacock today....he kinda looked raggity. i was hoping taht i could save him. we shall see. i also grabbed 2 black convicts. im gonna try and breed them. see how that goes.
