Bumpy,,,,,,,what you got there looks like, as MsMassPoly said, a Chinease perch, they're cool fish and usually only readily eat live but can be trained to accept prepaired food.
On a side note, yeah most of us hate Petco or Petsmart but it is up to the buyer to know what they are buying (sometimes you get steals there on mislabled items), you gotta do your reseach and stop impulse buying. Buy something specific, KNOW what you want, don't be SOLD something.

It just looked a little odd for a chinese perch,i agree with the red snapper but now you need brackish water

she wasnt talking to me aboutu the perch...and i went there to get convicts...i never seen small ones so i thought the people there would know what the hell they are...but ya only time ive bought from there...
i just got back from there...i swear they flushed the jags down the toilet. im soooo pissed. do they really kill the fish? im calling the store. i even asked the clerk and she said no they dont kill em..that was before she ****ing went to the back....not near teh fish either...so i dont know..

thanks ,yeah returned it dont know why i even bought it guess ill head down to UE soon to stock the rest of my growout tank
