i was given a 4" Anableps anableps today. i looked it up says freshwater or brackish anyone know anything about them? also known as a 4 eyed fish. its pretty darn cool!

Oh yea. I've seen those guys, they used to have them at the AQ.

I believe brackish is the way to go with them.

Sorry to just jump in here like this, but need a little advice. Setting up a 125, first big tank for me. I have a 110 but it is a high, and doesnt really look big. Anyway, i want this tank to look really nice. I am debating on what to use for substrate. I have 3m colorquartz in my 110 and it is beautiful, but I would probably need like 200-250 lbs of it at $45 a 50lb bag.:WHOA:

I want to stock it with african cichlids, (i think anyway) I want a nice peaceful community tank, what do all of you advise.
