I have had own many xp3 i never have problem with flow or need to clean that often. what do you use beside xp3 to help out filteration? if you only use xp3 it could need to clean often.

i always use xp3 with others kind of filters as AC110,emperor 400, sump or any other canister. not just one or 2 xp3. but im sure you and/or others have different experience.

Voss it's the same sump i got from your cousin....im sure it's a completed set up with overflow. if you take the sump we can go see you together. i got some stuffs for ya too.

I have to you dont notice decreased flow in xps after a month or so?

I notice the crap it shoots out after a month. I need to get a better seccond filter on my tank. I have a seccond nature WDF 3000 and a XP3 on my 55 gallon. I have to clean my XP3 about once a month too.
