How cool! You are so fortunate that you can just go to an LFS and pick up wild caught fish like that!

Well, they aren't quite that close. I had to drive about 2 hours to get to them but, it was well worth the trip.

Is this the same bluegrass that runs the mailorder business? I don't see bocourti on their site. I have been looking for some. THanks

It is. I really lucked out with this pair. Timing was everything. This pair were imported by Don Conkels when small. Then were sold to a friend, by the people at Bluegrass Aquatics, who has been growing them out. I just happen to call them at the right time shortly before he was bring them back in. I ended up having to wait for couple of weeks before they actually made it in and they cost a pretty penny but it was well worth the wait and the cost. I'm very happy with them.

Here are a few more of the female. She is already claiming a pot as her own and flaring at the big male. I hope I can get them into breeding condition soon.
