i hear you buddy however females don't have the horizontal line like mine and your's in the avatar have also mine is probably more yellow because of stress, what about the elongated body which is not common for females, i dont no though rapps said it was 100% male but dunno:confused::nilly:
 
Yea these Umbees are more difficult to sex. The yellow tint throws you off. Just give it time and update us from time to time. I hope its a male for you.
 
I would just go with jeff rapps' assessment. Most people have never had an umbee, so you might have a tough time find a lot of umbee experts.

Not trying to get anyone upset, I'm just going by the pictures that you provided, and to me at least, it looks female.

When you make an asumption state why. All the umbees that were collectedand sent to Rapps are yellow more yellow than any wild umbees to this date the copper marking will come later he's only 6 inches so I say male
