I was being sarcastic :) We have a nice sticky here on the Flowerhorn forum with "The FOUR things you NEED to know", that's frankly incorrect and far from factual info :p

I read that thread about a year ago and thought there might be something to the 'no Black backgrouds" until i looked at my 125 with my beautiful Female FH(zz by the way). It might be true in some fasion but i don't see it.

Very nice fish by the way.
 
Thanks, he's already looking better after being in his new tank for a few days. Or maybe it's because of the darker substrate, and black background? lol
 
I keep all of my FH in black backgrounds.

As I do CA/SA/Africans, etc.

The entire logic regarding FH, and no black backgrounds is ridiculous.

If anyone wants to debate this further please do so in the general FH/hybrid forum, better yet just use the search function I've been over this subject numerous times.
