New Fahaka

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hmmmm Basically you just care for 50 aquariums like there your own

He looks good to me. My Fahaka is about 6" and the 1st couple of days after I brought him home, he did'nt eat anything but live snails but now he eats frozen bloodworms and krill like there's no end to his stomach. Frozen bloodworms was the only food that some DP's I had yrs ago ate. Might try some of them?

I might, my lab runs on a tight budget, so any sort of frozen food usually comes out of my pay.

No worries, if I didnt put fish first, I wouldnt have gotten this job to start with.

You will enjoy your Fahaka Puffer. They are very cool fish to keep.

Always thought they were a neat fish, so much personality in their eyes. Also, sounds like an awesome job, living the dream you are. Lots of fish to look after without having to deal with customers.

Thats true, trust me I have worked the pet hobby trade as well...and seen some stuff that was pretty ugly.

I also sort of dable in the pet trade still, selling corals, plants, and fish.

Thanks of the help with the fish though guys.

hapi puffering bro..all the best
if u do have any qns feel free to drop me a pm

Guy looks super skinny now, dont know how well the volunteers have been feeding him.

I came in today, gave him an earthworm and about 5 snails.

I also added some parasite meds. Going to do 2x doses of the jungle tabs, just whatever we had lying around the lab.

hmmm, most people due tend to under feed the larger species of puffer. Why not start a "feeding log" so that you can keep track of his diet?

You have to treat the foods with the meds, to get it into the puffer.
