Very nice tank and cichla!
But gravel...? Im sure that ray hates that substrate.....and i bet it traps tons of turds.

It came like that, wasn't happy about it, but hen I had to switch from my 180 it was better than no substrate cuz acrylic scratches easy and the bottom didn't look nice at all. Want to do sand eventually. And your right, the rays absolutely hate it. Does keep the water nice and clean though. No sandy haze from the bass kicking it up and no **** to be seen anywhere, got a nice long gravel cleaner so it's manageable.

nice tank dude. 48'' wide is big. How many gallon or litres is it? btw all your bass are nice. And it's cool how your asian aro and black aro gets along well

They don't get along well, the Asian is sold already, picked up tomorrow. Learned that the hard way, my beauty black arowana got his scales torn up. Quite upset about it actually, he was in complete mint condition. Only happens at night though, so one more night of potential damage. Tank is 400 gallons. Have 2 teacup rays, 2 vulture catfish, a golden clown knife, and a black ghost knife in there as well. Got a Tigrinus and 3 more bass growing out to stick in there, at that point it will be cramped and some will have to go. Leo ray would top off my vision, still hunting.
